What’s up, Cuatro Corners Cartel? I hope your week is going well! You might be asking yourself, wait a minute, ‘These guys already have the best Texas State Sports Podcast, why do they need a newsletter?’ We’re honestly kind of in the same boat.

Since the inception of the Squarin’ Around Podcast, a lot has changed for us in and around Sunny San Marcos in a very short amount of time. Now, there is even more that goes into making one of our little shows week to week.

But, Zim and I have always been writers first, the technical podcasty, wizardry stuff is still fairly new. For literally hours week to week, I (Jakob) sit on my ass rendering videos waiting to upload and instead of watching another jiujitsu tutorial on Youtube, thought jotting down some “big brain thoughts” would be a better use of my time. Plus, a weekly writing assignment once a week that pushes to our show can only make everything better, right? I hope at least is the plan.

So, whether you put on your best tuxedo to read our ramblings or you’re scrolling on the toilette avoiding your boss right now, welcome to the show!

This is also where we’ll drop some #Exclusivo knowledge bombs and gives us another outlet to push out the TXST content you all want and need!

News Of The Week:

First off, my bad for sending all this stuff and the pod so late this week. Work work (my actual job) has been a pain the last few weeks. I’m in a sort of transition period right now and I could become a free agent in a matter of months, so I’m keeping my head on a swivel right now. Nevertheless, work on our show presses on, thanks for y’all’s understanding!

This week on the show, yes, I am once again bringing up height and whether or not we’re lying about it on our dating profiles. Zimmel and I also go on a trip down memory lane to talk about some of the teams of the past ultimately to talk about where we are now. Plus, a bunch of DCTF news! So, if that’s your jam, this one is for you.

We already got some special guests lining up to go Squarin’ very soon, this is the space where we’ll also tip ya off about that or even ask for suggestions for interview questions and stuff like that!

This next guest is huge btw (I know I say that often) but really … he’s a big deal. Hint hint, I have brought him up several times as the reason our football team may have been cursed for so long!
